A Friend for Philippe
On Going

On June 24th and 25th, D&L Docks and Recreation in Timmins celebrated their 6th anniversary with a fundraising barbecue and some really good deals. We are pleased that they chose to support National Service Dogs this year.

We would like to thank Dan & Line Perrier for their contribution of over $800 to NSD. It's businesses like these that make a difference for our kids and help NSD continue to enrich the quality of life and enhance the independence of children and families living with autism.

God Bless.
Marc & Colette.

Philippe is a 8 year old boy from Timmins, Ontario. Diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, Philippe has made constant progress as a result of his Intensive Behaviour Intervention, speech therapy, and classroom activities. As much progress as Philippe has made, there remains some serious concerns about his security and behavior. Philippe has a hard time focusing on a task for more than a few minutes; he is often unaware of his surroundings, is not scared of strangers and sometimes runs out on the road.

Philippe is a loving, affectionate boy and we are looking forward to receiving his National Service Dogs as it will be a great addition to our family, especially for Phil. As parents, we try to make life as easy and safe as possible for him and this dog will serve as a great helper an unconditional friend.

NSD is a great organization but they need your help to raise money to survive. We urge everyone to donate to NSD and help them make a autistic child’s life better!

Thank You. Marc & Colette Girouard
