NSD’s annual Motorcycle Ride for Autism & Veterans has been held since 2006. The ride has continued to evolve over the years as interest for the ride has increased and NSD has expanded its programming.
In 2011, the name of the ride was changed to include our veterans program as all funds raised now go to support our Certified Service Dog for Autism Program and our Skilled Companion Dog Program for Veterans. We also changed the starting point and route of the ride to accommodate the growing number of riders, and partnered with Gulf-Kuwait Motorcycle Unit and the 1st C.A.V. Army Veteran Association.
The Ride for Autism & Veterans includes a scenic ride through Mennonite country and is road captained by the Gulf-Kuwait Motorcycle Unit. The day includes pictures with puppies, a complimentary lunch, and a chance to win great prizes.
The 2012 ride raised over $8,300 for our children and veterans. Help us exceed this in 2013 – Register now!
